I've noticed that periods of my life are defined by the music I listen to. Vienna Teng is always going to be associated with my first apartment and my LJ RPG days. i understand what you mean. music is a large part of my life and i have to have it going. i don't necessarily associate songs with people, but that's only because my moods change so much that the music i listen to changes. mostly, i assign styles more than songs.

still... i love my music and can't live without it.
