Wow, I am loving this story! I hope you have more planned in this verse.

The fight between Sam and Castiel could be epic. :-D

Thank you. :-) I'm glad to see that the Sam/Ruby didn't turn people off. I've had suspicions . . . The next part is almost done and I hope to have it up soon. Sam will have plenty of reason to be pissed at Castiel by the end of it. :-) And so will Uriel.

Thank you for reviewing; I'm really glad you like the stories thus far.

Oh, I'm really enjoying this 'verse of yours. Sam being both possessive and regretful and yearning hits all the right notes, as does Dean's broken refusal to allow him to help and the utter uncertainty of them both. The line about their relationship having scabbed over and Dean no longer quite fitting is perfect, especially when combined with Sam's quiet horror that it's the case. Sam unconsciously stating that he'd fight heaven itself to keep Dean? Seriously scary.

Also, I adore Castiel in this storyline. He hits the perfect notes of inhumanity, all with the right amounts of grace and desire. I feel terrible for Dean, caught in the middle of the both of them, but since you're hitting all my fic!kinks, I can't complain at all. Thank you for posting this!

Thank you so much for reviewing. There's a lot of really great/Castiel fics out there, but I've noticed that a lot of them seem to soften Castiel quite a bit--or at least present a more human (humane?) picture of him. I like playing with his unearthly aspects as an ambiguous agent because he's not human and his motives really aren't 100% clear. Angels and demons seem to be an awful lot alike in the show when it comes to their methods and that something both Sam and Dean are painfully aware of in this 'Verse. And hopefully you'll see more of that awareness when I post the next fic tonight. :-)

Thank you so much for reviewing and I'm really glad you're enjoying the 'verse.
