The actual ending of Breaking Bad was so perfect that I can't imagine improvement, but these characters definitely fit together very well -- Boyd's former neo-Nazi connections and the meth and the whole thing. Nice to see Loretta as a major viewpoint character -- I especially like the relationship you've developed between she and Raylan.

And I realize, reading this, that I tend to give Boyd a lot more slack than I would give, say, Walter White . . . Because of course he would do that. Totally.

Yeah, I wrote this before Felina, and as I watched it I realized it resolved everything and further more was really good. And naturally couldn't exist in this universe where this fic happened.

I'm missing Jesse something awful. This is as good a destination as any, for him; warmer than Alaska by a long shot. Of course, if he were in Alaska, he could hook up with Captain Sig and become a deck hand on the Northwestern ~ talk about bitchin'!

Loretta won't be a kid forever ~ and they make a good pair, as you write them. I like the verse you've made here. Think I'll go with it as where the road led Jesse, and his new found occupation.
