Eetuek didn’t know how to express his feelings and didn’t know who would be kind enough to listen to him cry out his feelings about the current issue Super Junior was experiencing regarding with Hankyung’s trial and such at three in the morning.
He scanned his contacts over and over again, running over familiar names and acquaintances and business organizations until he had seen that name that seemed to be the perfect confidant as of this moment. He pressed the call button as soon as that name was highlighted and he presses the device onto his ear.
“Yoboseyo?” The familiar voice brought Eeteuk a smile onto his lips, dimples showing and he couldn’t recall when was the last time he heard this voice but he was sure enough that he missed it - missed him. “Eeteuk hyung, are you okay?”
“Oh Kibum-ah, I’m sorry to disturb you. Did I woke you up?”
“You didn’t answer my question hyung and no, don’t worry, you didn’t woke me up.”
“That’s a good thing then. I’m fine, Kibum-ah. It’s just… Have you heard about Hankyung’s decisions? The trial and everything - it’s giving the other members some sleepless nights.”
“Including you, hyung?” Eeteuk sighed at this and he heard Kibum give a short chuckle and Eeteuk just smiled at this. “Whatever Hankyung hyung’s decision are, I know that he thought it thoroughly and he knew this would be for something better - something great. We just can’t see that know, but it’s like that hyung. I can feel it.”
“I just want to hold Hankyung and tell him “I want you to stay forever” but then somehow I know that would hurt him more.”
Of course Hankyung was hurting, if this hurts for the members, it pains Hankyung more and it cuts his flesh deep because Eeteuk knew Hankyung didn’t want to leave but then if this was what it would take to have leisure and rest, then sacrifices are sure to be made.
“Don’t worry too much, hyung. Everything is going to be better.”
Eeteuk smiled at Kibum’s words because he knew the younger was right - there’s always a rainbow after the rain - and with that Eeteuk knew that despite all of this, yes, everything was indeed going to be better.
