1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Eikichi is a fucking tree. Why? Because he's 6'3" in a country where the average male is 5'7" and a half. He's also very slim, considering his diet; he seems naturally prone to be chubby, and he has a major aversion to going back to that. I imagine he's gotta have some muscle on him, though, even if he isn't ~buff~ or whatever.

2. How old is he?
16! A few months away from 17.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He poses. He holds himself pretty upright and is prone to masculine posturing (his post-battle pose, if he's the one to do), but he also wraps his arms around himself kind of... adoringly. I have it headcanon'd that this particular gesture can also be a reassuring thing when he's feeling down, too, only less... overtly flamboyant.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's probably pretty fit, for reasons I've already stated. No illnesses we know of.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
I imagine he's the kind to have a real heaviness to his step, but I think there's probably a bit of a clunky clumsiness to him too, since all of his moves are so.... dramatic?

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
lmfao that depends a lot on the beholder. I don't think he actually is faking all his narcissism; I think a lot of that comes from pride, actually, of what he's turned himself into since that crybaby little kid. But I think he's definitely still insecure to a point, especially without his makeup. I think he feels a lot less awesome when he doesn't paint all the theatrics in :( If you're seeing him without it in and you're not his family, it probably actually means a lot in terms of how he trusts you.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Uhhh without that makeup probably just... average? I think his skin's pretty clear, too, which is pretty amazing considering what he does to his face each day. Geez.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
When he's had his way with it, Pretty Damn Blue, Pretty Damn Spiked, and with that cyan kind of streak up the center. I imagine there's no way it can feel smooth, though, probably kind of coarse, with all the shit he must use to spike it up like that, unless he has more AMAZING PRODUCT which isn't impossible. When it's in its natural state, well - we can see from flashbacks that it's naturally this dull kind of blue, and I think it's naturally just kind of... awkward-looking? In how it naturally falls. It's probably a lot smoother when he doesn't fuck with it, though.

9. What color are his eyes?
A really weird orange-red tint. IDEK.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Most of it is just in how he styles himself after visual kei, etc.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
I think his shoulders get a lot of it, maybe the lower back too. And Scorpio rules over the genitals, so uh.... maybe he gets really horny too? It wouldn't be that far-fetched okay.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
We only see him in Kasu clothes but I imagine there's obviously a lot of stuff inspired by visual-kei and punk in general. There's probably as much black stuff as there is color, and I imagine he must like blue an awful lot. I bet he has a dramatic looking winter coat for sure, and even just plain old punkish t-shirts are probably adorned with a lot of accessories (bracelets, necklaces, wrist cuffs......) to make him stand out. And I bet he likes boots, too. But he's definitely no one for pastels or light colors, that's for sure.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
For his dad, I'm sure he sticks to the plainest things he has, cuts down on the accessories, etc. But for his other job - working at a live house - I be he does just the opposite and pulls out his most interesting stuff.

There is official art of him in Dolce & Gabbanna tighty whities. I wish I were kidding.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
He actually has a lot on inflections depending on what he's going for. It can be really trill-y and flamboyant and high-pitched, but he can also lower it pretty deep when he Means Business. His normal tone tends to fall in between there.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He's so excitable, I'm sure he speaks pretty loudly and pretty quickly pretty often, though obviously there are exceptions etc. When he lowers it for his ~Shinigami Banchou~ kind of tone, it sounds rougher, too.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Not that I'm aware of. Other than HOOOOOOOOOOOOH ♥

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese is his native tongue. Engrish.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He likes to sprinkle some Engrish in his sentences every so often, but not really when he's actually being serious.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
I think he's an impromptu speaker. I don't think he's always necessarily good at it. He can command someone's attention fairly well, but if he's caught off guard even a little, he can be a stammering, confused mess. The stutter was mostly from his kid years, but I headcanon that it comes back in certain situations.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Oh whoops I ANSWERED THIS I GUESS... Though eloquent isn't the word for it, he's pretty blunt and direct.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's actually probably okay at book smarts? He seems to take school oddly seriously - because it's his turf, sure, but in EP one of his bandmates is amazed Eikichi is missing like. A day of class. So there's that. He's probably not a top student at all, but I think it's too easy to label him a dunce, and I don't really buy that either. So yeah, definitely more a street-smarts kind of guy, given his authority at Kasugayama.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Impulsive bastard; this is self-explanatory.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Intuitive and idealistic for sure. I mean, he's trying to become a rock god when he has a band of members who..... can't play instruments. He can logic things out decently, but he's far more likely to rely on his gut.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Kasugayama is a school for delinquent boys, and while I'm pretttty sure there's a lot of testosterone causing a ruckus, it doesn't seem nearly as bad as it could be? It's kind of bizarrely laid-back, from the looks of things; instead of being harsh and oppressive and LET'S WHIP THESE BOYS INTO SHAPE, it seems more to be lenient on academia and kind of almost accepting that teens will be teens. They have wanna-be raves for dance parties!! Seriously who allows that??

I almost wonder if Kasu is a mix of delinquents with spotty records and just kids who underperform in their studies, given Eikichi's bandmates. Given Japan's intense focus on schoolwork, that wouldn't surprise me if it had a lot of the latter in it despite the reputation of "delinquency." IDK, it doesn't seem like Kasugayama is hellish at all, contrary to first impressions.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Well he's trying to be a big music god! I actually think he probably does try to legit learn about music theory and knows maybe some really basic things... as much as it's an image thing, I think he's also really genuinely into it. He also really liked manga as a kid, and it's stated he can actually do portraits pretty well and that art is his favorite subject, so! I kind of think that's been with him so long that he might not even.... get that he's pretty good at it? Like he'd be like, OH IT'S THIS THING I DO :D, not as much pomp and bombast as the attention he gives to music.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
EXTROVERT. People often think this has to do with shynesss? And it doesn't; it has to do with how you 'recharge,' where your energy comes from. And I think he definitely thrives in the company of other people, and gets twitchy if he's alone too long. Even as a kid, I think he really, really enjoyed having company.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
As I said before, he's pretty excitable, though he's not hyper. It's more... he gets riled up, really easily, whether in excitement or shock or anger or what! In the beginning of the game he has more of that tough-guy thing going on, something closer to stoicism, although he gets pretty riled up when Lisa teases him anyway LMFAO...

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He actually remarks to Tatsuya canonly that he's not really used to the darker shit that happens (Yukino's Big Angst Source), and kind of awkwardly tries to joke when you take to him in a random dungeon room, before giving up and confessing that. Otherwise, he's pretty... okay with new people? It depends a lot on the context.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight. Two simple answers in a row huh!!

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Eikichi is somewhat considered to be the comic relief character even though there's far more to him than that. A lot of it has to do with stuff that just kind of... happens.... to him, but ah.... actually, he kind of evokes the laughs more than he actually reacts to something funny.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Nope.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
BEYOND THE OBVIOUS - the whole SUMMER OF '99 - or rather, to get more specific, I realized horrifically while canon-reviewing just how much the role of "boss" from their childhood games screwed with him later in life. There are at least two instances of him as a kid acknowledging that "what the boss says, goes," and he repeats something along these lines (that his laws are "absolute") in his very first scene in-canon. He never really won that role in his little group (after the memory when they play House and he's forced to be the baby, he looks pretty upset and remarks that he just wanted to draw pictures), so it kind of.... developed into a giant complex when he was older. I don't think that caused it so much as it cemented it, though; the root cause is really just all the fucking bullying he got. And if things hadn't gone in the group the way they did, well...

And of course, the Miyabi incident that made him GET FIT and do a radical image makeover. I don't feel like summarizing, though.

14. What does he fear?
His father, fish, the possibility of becoming chubby again, lack of power. Headcanon'd: getting old.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To be a musician ♥ And maybe marry Miyabi IDEK. Do his part in protecting his friends! And helping the weaker students at KasuKou learn to stand up for themselves. The first one is the guidebook's definite answer, though.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Given the way he reacts to Lisa's nickname of him, I think he finds that pretty embarrassing.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
AWK-WARD. Eikichi is terrified of his dad, who is all traditional and rough around the edges and lies and says he knows all this martial arts shit AND WILL KICK EIKICHI'S ASS. And dude, idc, threats can be pretty damn scary.... especially considering we hear at least one instance of his dad smacking him as a kid, in public, so uh. The game really awkwardly plays Eikichi's fear as comedic relief, at least when he's older, so it's... difficult to determine what the game wants us to make of it. Though speaking to Eikichi's dad at Gatten Sushi will have him admit that he needs to be honest with Eikichi and stop threatening him with nonsense. I imagine that, because Eikichi seems so happy after beating Metal Dad, that.... well, I think he'd still be nervous tbh, but he'll eventually be like 'this is who I am and you should accept that!!"

A guidebook somewhere says he's afraid of his mom, too, but... because she's chubby, and serves as a reminder of what he doesn't want to become, essentially. I imagine her to be pretty easygoing and cheerful, though, in a quiet kind of way.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Nope.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Not that we know of.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
WHAT UP GRAND CROSS ♥

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
'Best friend'... he doesn't really have one of those. Quite a few friends, sure, running in different circles, but not really one above any of them.

6. Does he have other close friends?
Grand Cross, his cronies at Kasu. Tatsuya is probably that guy he always wanted to be as a kid, someone who has that innate charisma to draw people to them. I think it's pretty cool he has no problems letting Tatsuya be the leader, and takes it so well? The game sets you up to think there could be some inferiority shit happening but instead you just get.... Eikichi posing and competing in sexiness contests lightheartedly with him. I think he's probably envious that Tatsuya has all that stuff naturally - looks, that odd charm to him, etc. - but dude, he handles it pretty well.

Lisa - oh no where do I begin LMFAO. UM. They fight... a lot.... and more often than not he's basically her punching bag. But they're oddly protective of each other; can recognize when the other has changed for the better, and compliment them accordingly; her mood dampens when his does; etc etc. I don't know if they consciously know this, but they're still friends with their own bond, and still trust the other to have their backs! Being water and earth signs, they're actually amazingly well-suited for each other; their tension mostly comes from Grand Cross stuff, but that's another entry I have in this journal. Basically, they have similar energies for being opposites (pop culture v. counter-culture, maintainer v. destroyer, etc).

There's not a lot between him and Jun in-canon, but he did swear to protect ~the new transfer student~ upon examination, even if he... judged rather wrong on his capabilities... Eikichi is really forgiving of him, and it's actually really touching, considering what Jun did to his friends. Eikichi believes a lot in change, and he thinks Jun can pull that shit off. Yeah! Team Kasu Fierce! Also, Jun still calls him 'Michel.' What a guy ♥ He's also jealous, I think, deep down of Jun's natural beauty, but he'll just have to try harder then!

Maya is Big Sis! I actually adore that they share the water element, and I wish more could've been made of it. But she's a really good influence on him, and I imagine he really holds her motto and approach to life really, really close to his heart.

His cronies... :( For all that it seems like he bosses them around at the beginning, he's devastated when they become shadow selves.... he even remembers their dreams for the future :(

I imagine he can annoy people really really really easily but the reverse it just as true.

I'mma steal Jun-mun's answer for this: his friends are his family.

HE LOVES MIYABI-CHAAAAAN ♥ Okay he doesn't call her that but WHATEVS, his image makeover is almost entirely to be worthy of her so it's Kind Of a Big Deal. So much that his entire... shadow....revolves around her. But my misgivings aside, she is definitely incredibly precious to him, and I think they could maybe be a cool Power Couple.

Miyabi. And Miyabi. I'm sure he's had other crushes, though.

Considering what he thinks of Miyabi - and what he thinks of Lisa - he really seems to dig traditional, refined young women, thank you very much! Feminine and kind of potentially house-wifey in that Yamato Nadeshko way. I think he'd definitely need someone at least half as passionate as him, though.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
Noooo, and I think he... could maybe kind of want them in a vague sense? But he doesn't really think about it because being ~that old~ seems too far off, still.

Yes yes yes yes LMFAO, he has some very angry Kasu students (Sugimoto.....) after his ass for his more tyrannical days as Shinigami Banchou. And, you know, the Crawling Chaos likes to see his friends cry, but you know. Another day in the life.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Headcanon'd 1. He's extremely geared to the ladies, and is probably canonly technically a 0, but I can see him having a physical thing (and probably solely physical) with a dude in some rare circumstances. But he'd call himself straight. Forever.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
IT IS AN IMPORTANT THING!! He's such a physical and passionate dude, I have a really hard time believing it wouldn't be a Priority, given all his flirting and flaunting.

Turn ons... he'd be pretty happy with vanilla sex, but I can also see him liking begging, exhibitionism, dirty talk, noise in general, teasing, etc. Turn offs... he doesn't want anything in his butt. I'm being serious. And weird habits... idk Eikichi is kind of weird in general, so take that how you will. I will need to think more on this!

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Considering how important astrology is to P2 - and how accurate ATLUS got it - he is a pretty decent Scorpio. He doesn't really have the stoicism going on, admittedly, but he's definitely intense, has a lot of stuff going on with domination/control/power, the sex appeal aspect, self-discipline... that's also in another entry on this journal.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Only spiritual in the way that he observes Shinto & Buddhist rituals like festivals and the such, but it's nothing he overtly guides his life by.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
The strong help the weak, as someone who used to very much be in the latter position due to childhood bullying and timidness, etc. He already compromised it himself by abusing his position of power by using his Persona as a threat, but he's already working to reconcile that.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Just don't be an asshole. No, really.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Ummm well he certainly has Issues about weight, though hopefully Miyabi helped him out a little with that, idk. He should stop avoiding his mama... :(

I'm never quite sure how well Gatten Sushi provides for them all, actually. I'd say he's doing pretty okay?

HAHAHAHAHA ZERO TO HEEEERO. Okay jokes aside, I think I've pretty much covered this, that change from being a wimpy little kid to keeping an entire school's worth of delinquent students in line. That's pretty impressive. Though other schools seem to think he's, uh, a joke, so....

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
I think his room is above Gatten Sushi, right? I'm pretty sure it's implied it's part of their home, or something? Am I making this up? So I imagine it's actually kind of small and modest, and his dad being so traditional, probably pretty.... neat and sparse? Until you get to Eikichi's room. I'm sure he's done.... quite a job on that.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Accessories, more clothes, more accessories, hair product, make-up, manga, more make up, more hair product...

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He is apparently delivery boy for his dad's business (according to a line of EP dialogue) and also works at a live house, which is pretty damn cool if you ask me. I'm sure he enjoys the latter far more. Rocks out with his cock out, etc.

He is on a fierce diet. No meat!! He also hates fish which is ironic, given that his dad runs a sushi place... but that's probably why, isn't it.
