What if you are the only user on a laptop and you use atleast 10 sites which require login everyday, isn't it a pain to enter the password and also I might not want security on my machine as I'm the sole user.

Agreed! But if that is the case, I would have a password manager that stores all passwords. There would be one password for this application and every time I have to login to some site, it would ask me for this single password.

It does not matter much when you are the sole user, but what if you lost your laptop/phone? would you like it if some one who found them had access to you emails, photos and worse bank accounts?

So I have one password to startup my machine. That's the primary password. And I lock my machine when I'm not around.
