things are finally better again
after 7 weeks of torture and pain i stopped my homeopathic treatment for my skin
friday i went to my parents to take a bath and i completely broke down
my skin was so bad that i couldnt think anymore

it will be really good for marvin to have a vacation--just so your immune system can calm down for a bit. i am so sorry you are dealing with this. i can't even imagine how painful it can get, because, like, it's your skin and is a part of every way you move your body. take care of yourself!

yeah i think its the best solution for myself and marvin now.
and like you said, its my skin and a part of every way i move my body, it was really painfull, i just tried to move as little as possible.
but i do feel A LOT better now, that injection was like a miracle, crazy how fast everything is healing.
and with the summer coming up, i'm glad everything will be ok again by then :)

I'm glad you are feeling better!!
I know what you mean about doctors and medications (I've been dealing with my hive problem for half of my life)..but sometimes it is the best thing to do.
and hopefully your kitty will be happy and everything!

yeah its not always the best thing, but sometimes we can be happy that we do have those heavy medications. i know i am now :)
i'm sure marvin will be very happy, he'll have new friends to play with, and i will go see him a lot!

Man! As if you didn't have enough on your mind already... now that skinthing... again!
Well, like they told me when I was little: it's for life so get used to live with it (nice doctors I had! :D). But it's very exhausting to live constantly with that state of mind. Especially as you can't get any time-out's to re-energize when you're fed up with it.
I really really hope you find the treatment that suits you.
Parting from Marvin for a while, now, might be the best idea indeed. Healing is already a very very long process so you really don't wanna make it even longer. But yeah, a small vacation for him at his "grandma's" place should be great I suppose! He'll come back fat and spoiled! Hihihi.
And bother too much about the cortisone: when you're in that stage, it's an absolute necessity. It takes months off the healing process.

yeah i'm not too concerned about the cortisone at this point, i'm actually very happy that i could have it.
its amazing how much everything has changed since fridayevening, this really is a "paardemiddel" damn.
some people have been telling me i should try drinking horsemilk, apparantly thats good for the skin, have you heard about this?
i'm getting ready to take marvin to his vacationhouse in the country hehe :)

Yeah, I've been told about horsemilk too but I don't think that's something for us. I suppose that's ok for normal people with normal skin having an occasional skinproblem (just like that uttercream stuff, you know from cow-mammels: it's horrible for me!) but not for what you have. Of course, it is very healthy in general but VERY expensive too!

wel vandaag heb ik eigenlijk de beslissing genomen om samen met mijne marvin op vakantie te gaan bij mijn ouders voor een tijdje, ik heb mijn appartement juist opgezegd. (zij hebben daar gelukkig de plaats voor, zodanig da ik genoeg privacy kan hebben)
dit is natuurlijk maar een tijdelijke oplossing, het is de bedoeling om iets anders te zoeken, ik zou graag een klein huisje met tuintje huren...
maar dat zal voor later zijn, eerst moet ik nog es langs de states passeren :D
en op logement bij de ouders maakt dit natuurlijk veel gemakkelijker, nu kan ik een maandje ertussenuit zonder dat ik ergens huur moet betalen :)
ziet ernaar uit dat alles wel nog in zijn plooien zal vallen, grote veranderingen.
