Private.
I am starting to lose my English. I am not speaking it regularly enough. So I will write here in English. To practise.
I am having to make a stand for some new ideas that I intend to bring in. I think the council of twelve were hoping that I would be easy to manipulate, and thought that they could continue their old corruptions. But the regione is under my control. I am not under their control, or I would be a prisoner here. It is so easy to forget this. I am too used to the idea that people who are older than me have all of the authority.
I also suspect that one of them is working for the Medici. I will keep watch for now. Perhaps I can tell to him something untrue, and see where he takes it.
I did not mean to write about politics here. This is for relaxing, not for working.
Something which Ernie said to me made me think. I can have a party. I can invite whoever I want to. He is right, I am the Duke of Milan and therefore, as long as I do not shirk my responsibilities, I can do what I like.
So.
I am going to send invitations to everybody. New Year in Italia, surely they cannot resist? I can give them something beautiful, a night to remember for a long time.
The school term has not started yet, so Severus and the others can visit here without obligations in Britain to get in the way.
Yes. I like this idea! I will give the instructions for invitations to be sent out. Immediately!
