Finale Disappointment
I just finished watching the Bones season 4 finale and all i can think is major disappointment.
Just in case anyone hasn't seen it i'll put it under a cut
I could guess pretty early on, even before the ep that at least part of it would be him in the hospital and unconscious and dreaming. And that was okay, i was hoping the BB promised sex would not be a part of that even though i suppose i had to admit it would probably be the case i was in denial. And of course the ep starts and it's immediately apparent that the sex would in fact be part of the dream. I moved on from that and enjoyed the shippy nature of having Booth and Brennan together, even if it wasn't really the Booth and Brennan i'm used to. It quickly became obvious just how funky everything was and yet it was still quite funny, and i was enjoying it, believing that before the end of the ep it would switch back to the hospital and Booth would be there and he'd wake up and all would be well. And then it did go back to the hospital and it seemed that it was Brennan who'd written the whole thing and was waiting for him to wake up and then he did. Only things got weird after that and that's when i got annoyed. Seriously? Who thought it was a good idea to have Booth lose his memory? I thought Hart Hanson said fans would be satisfied by the finale... well i guess he was wrong because i'm just pissed that they would do something like that. If it hadn't been for the ending it would have been a pretty decent episode. Oh well, i guess i have a lot of material for some angsty BB fanfics and Demily too.
