there's a small snaffoo with xoxmm's journal ~ the reply mode is in friends only, so I can't comment to have her add me for the floo. Can you let her know so it can be fixed, please!? Thanks!

Hi!! I was just wondering...and forgive me if this is a stupid question...but how do you make your LJ friends only?? Do you have to have at least a plus account or can you do it with a basic one? Please reply asap, thanks. ^.^;;

That isn't a stupid question. We were all newbies once, after all. :) You don't need to have a plus account to make your journal friends only but it does take a lot of time if you have a lot of journal entries.

To make your journal friends only, you will need to edit all of your journal entries. On the edit page, all the way at the bottom next to the post button there is a drop down menu that says Show this entry to: Select 'friends' and that locks your journal entry.

If you don't want to edit each entry, you can just lock your journal entries from now on. If you want to have a friends only post like this one, to stay at the top of all of your other entries, then all you have to do is edit the date of the post so that it is further into the future. (For example: mine is Jan. 9, 2009)

I hope this helps and forgive me for this craptastical explanation! :p
