Those too be read piles can be a nightmare!

I wish I was someone who would read through things straight away. My attention won't stay on one thing though.

Luckily my budget has limited by book acquiring somewhat in recent years but I still probably have around 1000 books I haven't read :/

At least you will never be trapped in the house with nothing to read.

I do that with library books.
Any that I haven't read by the time I can't renew them again
are just out of luck.

I have a stack of books people have given me
that I may never read.

I bought Les Miserables new because I couldn't find a good translation used.
And I spent $30 or $35 on a really good copy of Moby Dick used.

Once I'm successful and have a place with room for bookshelves,
I might atart buying books for research,
when they're available,
rather than getting them from the library.

I rarely read a book if I don't start on it right away,
unless it's part of a book run that I've made.
I do have a shelf of books that I might read eventually.
