you have issues getting parties as 74Mnk/Nin? o.O Honestly, I party almost exclusively with monk's and tp burn. I know I will always look for a 75 first, but I will often times look for a 74 MNK before I look for a 75 War. Guess thats just me.

you could just try soloing or more easily duoing (with rdm or whm) VT to 75 imps (soloing might be a stretch at 74 and it's like the same xp duo and no downtime). I wish I had those things back in the days, skeletons were a lot harder to solo =P

Even with semi-crowded camps you can usually keep 10k+ xp/hr

Also getting to 75 is just the beginning!! hehe
Then you at least need to get all the job-specific merits, those won't interfere with your ninja merits or anything (h2h merits would be nice too but I imagine you already have combat skills used up)

Oh yeah. definiately getting the Job specific merits for monk. Doing Kick Attack first with the merits I already have saved up, but I'm torn between doing Counter, or just leaving it for now since I'd like to keep presuing guard skill ups.. and I see countering as a bad thing while doing that.

If you want some quick xp, look me up and we can duo. I'll go /rdm and just spam Healing Breath on you. Hell, its not like I'd pull hate anyway. :o
