How did I miss the +30 to light and dark resist on that piece? I wonder how useful it would be on a pld/nin setup against Proto-Ultima with Citadel Buster being a light based move? Combine with a Pluto's Staff when you know the move is coming for +50 Light Resist?

Makes me wonder if Biotech weapons can be intimidated?

Gallant Leggings +1 is a better thing to get first before you go for something like Flawless Ribbon in my frank opinion.

well, I have all the items needed for the +1 boots, just that I haven't been needed as PLD lately, so I've not spend the coins in case I needed a different item.

So you old-timer tanks don't think the resist to status ailments is worth it on top of the enhance killer effects?

well, like most any tanking equip i'm sure it has a lot of functionality situationally. just saying that it doesn't seem to have as much general/overal benefits as the aforementioned pieces for those slots
