Having been conveyed nicely to the common room, the hamster settled down in a corner and surveyed her current domain. On the one paw, there were loud and obnoxious students stomping through it, filling it with words and empty food containers and bad jokes, and (possibly) homework

Belthazor wandered into the common room and flopped on the couch, reaching for the remote control. Surely there had to be something on TV to cure his boredom.

The couch jumped a little as something cat shaped woke up.

"Oops, sorry, didn't see you there," Bel said.

"Mrrrowr." Faithful shook himself off, still underneath the couch. "Did you see a hamster around here by any chance?"
