Unlike the complaining majority, I enjoy the unseasonal change. Makes for a nice break in summer's monotonousness. Day after day of nothing but heat becomes dull very quickly.

Snowstorm also adds to the challenge in seeking out a hot meal.

I have stew in mind. No luck yet in finding an eatery that has it on the menu.

Yes, New York City. Far later years were in London; not as much snowfall there, but it happens.
