Two days of primarily bad fiction. The widespread lack of talent brought out by that curse was unbelievable. Pity the publishers whose desks were hit by those manuscripts.

I take it you didn't read any of the stories.

There were a very few good ones. I did like discovering a new name for Rosiel.

If we are to get contracts, people need to know of us.

I don't agree with papering the City. Smacks of amateurism.

Simple ad posted for a brief time on the Network would have had greater impact.

The ink is not water-proof. Just wait until the next rain or snowfall.

Need I remind you to know your place and remember the Tenets, Murderer?

This world has modern technology. Everyone in the City is issued a device. Everyone topside, including those from archaic backgrounds, use it to access the Network - which is both the primary means and preferred choice of communication.

Unless you've a magic trick up your sleeve with the flyers, I don't see how anyone will take serious notice of them.

Displeased with his methods, Luke? [he sounds amused]

I met with our other supposed brother, by the way.

Might as well put them under car wipers, stapled to poles and fences, plastered onto walls, posted in vender windows; like every other up and coming rock band does.

We can recruit our most attractive groupies to do handouts in the Square right before the next gig.

Perhaps it should be suggested. [Oh, Luke's humor. He teased.]

Ah, so he is. The bounty hunter.

Burn the desks and burn the manuscripts and burn the hands that wrote them.

The Fairy Queen is displeased.

That would mean incinerating the entire City.

Then we'll be Roman to the last.

Untalented though they were, I still think they were rather entertaining.

If given a choice, I sooner read a Harlequin Romance.

Perhaps, but at least these are cheaper.

I see. Thank you for keeping an ear out.
