cell phone users: question!

I know a bunch of folks have smartphones: anyone using T-Mobile? Do they suck/rock/somewhere in between? I really like my current phone company but none of their plans work well for me (credo mobile) and the signal strength flatlines in the most important location I want to call from (the spot where the commuter rail ALWAYS seems to be failtastic ( Read more... )

In my area, at least, T-Mobile is pretty reliable, and I have had good experiences with their customer service. I think Jen also has T-Mobile, so ask her, maybe?

Thanks -- I thought you might, but I couldn't remember. A lack of customer-service horror stories is about all I've come to expect from things like phone and cable companies.

And for some of those, you can't get even that. D:One of my other friends got seriously burned by this one called Alltel. A must-avoid mobile carrier if I ever heard of one.

I'll be honest, T-Mobile is the only mobile carrier I've had for the seven or so years that I've had mobile service, and though it hasn't been perfect, I'm not thinking of switching anytime soon. My landline/DSL carrier, however... >.> If Qworst didn't have such a monopoly in my local area, I'd have switched years ago. Let's just say that at least T-Mobile has the good sense not to call me every month to offer me a "free account review" to try to sell me services I don't want, need, nor can afford. X_x

Awesome -- their maps showed good coverage, but, well, it's *their maps*. Thanks!

And my co-workers when asked were useless --- I got a chorus of "iPhone iPhone <3 <3 <3" and "so what if it's $100/month".
