I've been meaning to play some of the Persona games for aaages, but they're always out of stock when I got to get one. XD Are they worth picking up?

I've only played P3, but I've also played some of the other SMT games -- I've liked them all a lot. The Persona games do have some dating-sim-like aspects -- they're set in a high school and you have social links, which sometimes get tedious. But I really like the battle system and the storyline.

I'd also say keep an eye out for Digital Devil Saga -- it's trickier to find (and you do need to start with the first one there as DDS 1/2 are really two halves of the same game, unlike the Personas which are separate stories).

For some reason, all I remember of Shin Megami Tensei is that odd GBC game they made and wandering around a creepy blue corridor, so it's good to get a proper rec for them. :D Thanks!

All I know about Digital Devil Saga is that there are characters from it at Damned. Is it another RPG?
