LOL, if you don't play to 'ship, then it really doesn't matter, no. XD And Vera... I kind of see her as much too young for that sort of thing, regardless. ;) In "present day" AJ, she's in her late teens, but I see her as just as sheltered as Regina Berry, who isn't much younger than she is. I can see her in a platonic "puppy love" thing, though, which might be really sweet.

And Spark Brushel... no offense to him, but just... no. XDDDDD Although, now that I think of it... wonder how he and Lotta might get along...? >.>

If you haven't read this story, you should.

But yeah, Vera's very sheltered, and her 12-year-old self IMHO isn't even aware of sexuality. That doesn't mean it isn't already set for her; lots of people know they're gay as little kids -- not that they're thinking about sex, but they still know. Vera hasn't thought about it because she doesn't go out and meet people, but if you asked her if she thought she'd marry a guy or a girl, she'd blink and ... a lot and then answer "a boy".

Spark/Lotta is lulzworthy, and I can sort of see it. Also, him having a bit of an infatuation with Thalassa Gramarye, though he'd never want to act on it, even after Zak is dead. He's actually, of all my characters, the one I'd find the most fun to 'ship if I threw him in a panfandom -- but I have no desire to write smut. Just cuteness, because the man deserves something going right in his life, especially when I'm playing the post-AJ version.
