There was discussion on plurk of baking. I am not typing recipes in commentboxes, and besides, I had most of these typed up, and the rest I'd been meaning to move off shreds of paper into digital form. And starting with recipes that have explanations for all the techniques. If you do decide to make any and have any questions feel free to ask -- I'm sure there's technique stuff I omitted because my mom taught me when I was tiny and I forget not everyone knows. Like adding the "room temperature" note at the top at the very end.
