Not going to lie, S.T.'s metaphors and similes really sell him for me. I don't follow Lana or Taura nearly as much, but I'm sure they're just as brilliant.

Thanks! Glad they're coming off as intended. I don't do nearly as much of it with Taura because for both my book characters I am deliberately pastiche-ing canon, and Bujold is much lighter on them. Which is why I'm still waffling on Lana, since her canon is all just dialog and not prose and she doesn't do them much if at all in IC dialog.

The metaphors and similes are part of what make your writing as vivid and fun to read is it is. It's not an easy skill to develop, so the fact that you come up with so many entertaining turns of phrases in all of your characters' prose (but especially S.T.'s) is just awesome. *__*

And I think what you've done in terms of Lana so far is very appropriate for her. It's hard to extrapolate when you've only seen her in one case, and she's not even present in it for most of the active scenes, but her subtle, light-hearted teasing sense of humor shines through nicely.

You know, I've noticed how creative you are with your metaphors~ XD It's true! Sometimes Lana's thoughts are just so... I don't know how to describe it. BUT I LIKE IT!

Keep doing what you're doing--it's fantastic to read~ They all sound so intelligent and in-character for someone like Lana. I've also noticed that you sometimes add in Latin phrases lawyers would know too, and that makes me smile. :3
