Maybe this proves that I was meant to be alone? Is it that I will inevitably screw things up with someone?

Don't bet yourself up over a few mistakes that you make. I don't make relationship based mistakes and that's because I've never been in one really. Some of us are meant to be alone. I've been a loner since elementary school and I knew it then. I don't see how you could be one personally.
