Hello. Here is my Review of Teh Movie:
First off, we have learned that Valerie procrastinates about more than Homework. I saw the movie when it opened at midnight, and I'm just now posting this?
Teh Plot:
Okay, well, I liked the scene with Dudley, and sort of liked the hearing. Harry was a little emo at the beginning though. He sees other kids playing

I never understood that either. So I'm going to revoke my self imposed punishment and pick-up HBP and read it before DH comes out.
Overall, I thought the movie rocked (saw it for the 3rd time today). I think that Luna and Tonks needed more time on film due to their bigger roles coming up (at least I think they do...).
As for the H/Hr scenes, this last time I went to see the movie, I went and watched to start analyzing. And in the beginning, I noticed that there was some major H/Hr moments that kind of dwindled toward the end, but they were still there, evident all the same, but still there. And since PoA and all their moments in the Forbidden Forest - this movie included - I've been thinking that this might be a sign that in the end the two of them will face things alone. (It's a stretch, but I can dream).
Oh well. I made voice posts about this. I cannot remember what I said. Hope you liked it!

Yay! Someone else who feels like I do! I didn't like the change from canon; a lot of the tragedy of Sirius being felled by a simple stunner, due to his arrogance, was taken out; and I found the special effects of his fall into the veil unconvincing.
Ginny: Ok, we get it. Everyone stop and stare at her "reducto" curse even though we are in mortal peril.
Heh. Well, if we have to have a super-powerful Ginny Sue, better that they not repeat JKR's mistake of leaving her in the shadows until her sudden blossoming into full nova-scale brilliance in HBP. At least this way her prominence in movie!HBP will go down a little easier.
so Ginny throws Hermione a nasty look.
While I thought Hermione's "who cares" was a bit snippy I didn't perceive Ginny's glance to be 'nasty'; I thought it was another one of those wistful-looks-at-Harry things.
But overall, the main thing I disliked about R/Hr was the knowing look Harry was giving them in the post-kiss scene.Great! I missed that ( ... )

Agreed. They didn't do nearly enough with this except for the fact that Dan's acting has greatly improved and thus we get to see something where they gave us nothing.
Ron/Hermione: I find it odd that they had to completely remove the Ron/Hermione dynamic that is usually present to move these two characters towards a relationship.
Yes! So let's see...In order to make Ron and Hermione realistically work, we must turn them into someone other than Ron and Hermione. Brilliant!
Harry/Luna: This movie made me believe that H/L would be a good consolation prize if R/Hr happens. They had 3 or 4 meaningful scenes together in the movie, two of which were just them, alone, together.Luna was simply amazing, and her scenes with Harry had a very raw emotion to them. Dan and Emma have an overpowering and traditional chemistry together and that carries over to their characters, but then there's this strange chemistry and ( ... )

My friend that I went to the movie with may do that...go as a witch trying to dress like a muggle.
Another friend considered Trelawney and Umbridge, Umbridge especially after seeing the movie. We ran into said friend when we got to the theatre.
I LOVED OUR H/Hr moments....and like I've seen a few others say...if R/Hr really were like that towards one another in the books...I'd be a lot more interested in that ship. But they don't, and I'm not.
