Yeah, I don't know why this idea popped into my head. But I liked the idea of Harry mostly convincing himself it was the lure of the forbidden, but deep down knowing that its just that they really are perfect for each other.
I was a bit miffed with Harry over the first half, my ire at his laziness growing, angry that he was happy to have whatever he has (!?) with Hermione without putting effort into everything else that comes along with a real partnership.
But the last sentence made up for it - he understands that he wants the whole box and dice - bills and dishes and kids and owls and children too - with her after all. That things won't be 'perfect' without going all the way. Go for it/her, Harry. She'll be worth all the fuss/trouble!
Yeah, I was trying to evoke the feeling that Harry was burying this feeling because it's the only way he can deal. He can't go for it (really) because Hermione is married to Ron :(
