If anyone from Chicago wants to come out to Baltimore between now and halloween I can get flights for 39 dollars each way.

What?

How?

What's going on?

Last night I burned my hands kind of severely while making easy mac. I then cried and yelled at Ben to go to sleep while he made me flush my hands with cold water until 4:30. Today I went to the ER because apparently my HMO does not have urgent care.

I am now doped up on narcotics.

Im excited to see you. Let's talk about this $39 thing

Also, HOW ARE THE KIDS AND THE NEW SCHOOL?

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but I do read your bulletins on occaision and I felt compelled to post a bit here.

Flying is bad mm'kay.

I mean really quite bad, environmentally speaking at least. It's the worst per person per mile of any mode of travel (except 1 person in a sucky car), and the high speed at which it moves you encourages people travel go more miles than they otherwise would.

So yeah, even if it's cheap I'd really reccomend not flying. Take a train, view the sites on they way down, stay for a month or more, and then train it back. But this flying stuff needs to come to an end.

That's part of the point. The idea that traveling somewhere soooo far away would be impractical without flying. Encouraging people to think about setting up their lives in such a way that they can see the people they want practically. I know Val can't change where she or her friends are right now, but she, you, and everyone else can certainly have it as a thought in their minds in the future, hopefully a very prominent thought. That's the main point of my post, to change for the future ( ... )

if it really bothers you that much to take a plane, you can always donate enough money to offset your carbon footprint:
