Robin could only stare in shock and disbelief, her eyes wide, before she started laughing.
"This is not funny," Don stated darkly, glaring.
On some level, Robin recognized the narrowed eyes and menacing look as one she'd seen her husband use on dangerous suspects who'd only respond to someone who seemed as dark and dangerous as themselves. Then it had sent a shiver down her spine even as it excited her. Now, however, it failed to have any effect but to increase her laughter.
"Robin!" Don growled warningly.
"Is nos funny!" Maggie exclaimed as she ran over and grabbed her father's knee, throwing her own glare at her mother. "Daddy look pretty."
"Yes, darling," Robin agreed, attempting but failing to contain her amusement. "Daddy looks gorgeous."
Even as she said it, her eyes were drawn back to Don's hair and the multitude of pink bows in it.
Oh, where was their camera?
Robin was just wondering if she could get a shot with her cell when it happened. Her husband looked down at their second born and all traces of his displeasure vanished as he caught sight of her smile. Oh, yeah, Maggie had Daddy wrapped around her little fingers.
