Presidential election

A new president will be elected for my country today. Second round =O! The first one was on december. I got up early today to go to vote, it was amazing the amount of people on the streets doing the same! It seems that people is with way more expectations than before~. It was obvious who was going to win in the first round, now they are counting

Oh, I read about that in the news earlier today. The conservative candidate won, didn't he? It's a good thing that lots of people are voting. We'll be holding elections over here this year too, although about half a year or so from now.

Yes, he did~. I wanted him to win, so it's okay :P.
The same people were in the power since 1989, wich is the year I was born (meaning that I don't know anything else). I felt that this country needed something new ^^.
I thought that there would be a lot of people that wouldn't vote because here we are in the middle of summer vacation xD, meaning that a lot of people is traveling. But, they came back to vote and did it very early too~ :).
I hope, everything will be okay with your elections too... And for the results to be the best (for both our countries ~).
