I love The River, and its so great to see you writing a drabble for it! This was so beautiful, the imagery was just breathtaking, and that last line is perfect.

Thank you so, so much! I have very conflicting feelings about the show, to say the least, so I'm not really sure quite why I'm doing fic for it, but happy to be writing again at least!

I really love this drabble, even though I don't particularly ship them (this show makes it hard to ship anyone, for some reason, at least for me!), you really sold their relationship. I like the quietness of this piece, and the last 2 lines are brilliant. :D

Thank you so much! I don't really know why I ship them either, to be honest, haha. I have a ton of issues with how Lena is portrayed in general, but something about these characters draws me in, it seems. "Quietness" is seriously the best compliment you could give -- that's pretty much exactly what I was going for! :D
