so, how do i join? or do i have to join, or, i'm confused, i don't know anything about how it works here on livejournal. :) but i really like to join. my name is Lisanne, i'm 18 years old and i'm from Holland.
my favourite photographer is Ed van der Elsken, so because of him i came to know of this wonderful creature named Vali Myers. a few months ago i bought a DVD containing about 400 photo's and 10 films of Ed van der Elsken, one of those films was called 'death in the port jackson hotel', it shows some inside in how Vali lived, her work is shown throughout the film, she doesn't say much, but she doesn't have to. i have watched and showed the film so many times.
i am doing a schoolassignment about Vali Myers right now. i have to crawl into her world and being, and i love it.

it might only be available in the Netherlands, i bought it via a dutch televison channels' archive. i saw the head 'order' at : http://www.edvanderelsken.nl/index.php?page=home (i already put it in english-mode for you), so i clicked..
