I am writing an article about women artists who were involved in both the tattoo and fine art world in NYC during the 1970s. Gianni's memoir of Vali contains only a page or two about her own tattoos and those she tattooed. Does anyone know of any articles (or individuals) that could help me to better document Vali's influence and connection to the NYC tattoo scene?

i've read it, and it was amazing. i see all the ruckus and color of this incredible life, not to mention Gianni's life forever changed. i appreciate that it was a no-b.s. telling of the tale.
