Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? Sorry for the long delay in posting (not that it's new); all the usual excuses apply. I have a few posts mentally queued up, but this summer is turning out be kind of busy so it may still be a while before they come up

I like 2, 7 and 10.

11 and 14 are quite nice too, though I'm not nearly as familiar with that fandom.

How did the battle with the blackberry bushes go? Did you win or call it a draw?

Thank you for your comment! :) #2 and #7 were on my list of ones that I thought turned out better, so I'm glad you liked them. I'm also glad you liked #11 and #14; I was trying some different colouring methods, and I was pretty happy that they turned out as well as they did. ;))

(Don't worry, I'm not really familiar with the fandom, either! They were a sort of peace offering to my sisters for not seeing the film with them, and then I kind of had fun with the pretty pictures. ;) )

I think I've been winning the battles, or at least withdrawing with most of my dignity intact. ;) I've gotten rid of a lot of dead bushes and branches, only trampled or cut a few living ones by mistake, and always returned with some berries for the family. ;))

(Fair enough! :) I don't think they look terribly drastically different, but they are...different. XD I guess the biggest contrast would be the last one; the original is a lot more red and a bit darker, I think.)

Glad you think so. ;)) My arms might disagree, but scratches make me feel...like I really should be wearing a long sleeve shirt. :P

2, 9, 11, and 14 are my favorites - I really like the cropping on 14, and the lighting on 9 is great. : )
You are planning to watch Avengers eventually, right? At least after it comes out on DVD? : D

Aww, thank you! :) I'm glad you liked them. I was pretty happy with how #9 turned out (even though I've really been having trouble with pixelization/sharpening/something lately!) and, actually, all the ones you mentioned. ;))

Em, possibly? I'm sure there will be multiple opportunities for me to see it when it comes out! My family will at least rent, if not buy, the dvd and I'm almost positive the youth/college group from church will have a movie night when it comes out. ;))

Regarding blackberries: I've had similar travails with our raspberries. Though we won't have fruit for at least another two months! Alaska being what it is.

Aww, too bad! Do you enjoy the raspberries when you get them out, though? And I guess raspberries grow in brambles like blackberries (...I just realised I don't think I've ever seen a raspberry bush :O ). Haha, well, down here being what it is, all the blackberries are ripening at once. I think I picked about 9 cups in three trips over the last 24 hours. :P
