Hi, everyone. :) It's been a long while, I know---the summer was and the semester has been really busy and, like ladyadeone, I've been on tumblr more recently, which has it's upsides and it's downsides

Good cropping! Too bad about the cropping dock. :P Capt. 2 does look interesting. I like the part where he defeats all those baddies in the elevator. :D
Thanks! :) Hehe, yes...but I finally found it again. :D
Yes, yes! I loved that clip. ;)) My mom was expressing hesitancy or concern about the comment "This isn't freedom, it's fear", which, yeah, could be interesting depending on how they deal with that. But I also reminded her that S.H.I.E.L.D. is technically under the Council, who torpedoed NYC because of Loki, so... ;)) At any rate! It looks very interesting. :)
GIMP: Have you looked on the View menu and to see if Status bar (?) is checked?
...Coincidentally, I just finished a fan-fiction epic that mixed movie-verse and comic-verse about Captain America and the Winter Soldier and the Avengers... that and tumblr-osmosis makes up about what I know on the subject. ;))
I eventually got it back but now I don't remember how I did that. :">
Huh. How was it? :) That sounds like it could've been rather interesting or just rather messy. ;)) Ech, don't worry; I absorbed a lot by osmosis and then proof-reading a few fanfics before I ever had an interest in them. ;)) (...and that all was mostly actually what made me interested...)
Oh, and while I have your attention: Did we ever get the genetics for Eileen and David and everyone sorted out? It randomly came to mind the other day, and I'm still trying to wrack my brain over it. I poked Winter again about it, and got her to concede that it could be possible for Eileen to have had the gene and then somehow got something like a cancer that rewrote her gene structure but positively, thereby either erasing the gene or stopping it from mutating or just making it a carrier... But that'd require some very careful manipulation, I think. ;))
Well, that's good, though not particularly helpful if it happens again. ;))
I thought it was a very high-end example of fan-fic, actually, especially for my first foray into that fandom. ;)) The osmosis was enough that I wasn't lost, and/or the writing was enough to establish me in the story.
I still don't have a detailed plan on the genetics yet, no. ;))
Well, I did google it, so I could probably do that again. ;))
Oh, that's good! :) (Maybe you could send me the link sometime? And the one for King Edmund's Crusade, since I think about it every once in a while but then never remember to look for it when I have time. :P And anything else you think I might find interesting, I suppose...) Yay for osmosis and good writing! ;))
