For Relatives (especially angry ones!)

Fingon rather suspects an influx of angry visitors, though he doesn't really know why. It's not like he did anything, or anything. And he knows he's right, too. This is just going to make it a little harder to prove it.

At any rate, he's now sitting in his room, flipping idly through a book and his expression set on his default, lately - vaguely ( Read more... )

Yeah, like Caranthir is going to let that slide. He already doesn't like you, Fingon. So he's hear to express his gratitude.

Gratitude for what?

A chance to be legitimately pissed off.

He found out from someone - probably your sister, yes, where you were, and he's not going to knock, he's going to come in, and very quickly, move to seize you by the collar. Yes, he is.

How come he can? Well, he's finally taken that painkiller of Jaenelle's. He just couldn't wait.

Well that's just not okay!

Fingon is on his feet in a moment and trying to tug away with a growl. "Get off me!" You nut. "What do you think you're doing?"

Yeah, well a pissed off Cara is fast and strong - that's where he gets his fighting momentum, really, so good luck, Fingon.

"What I'm doing, is what I should have done a long time ago. I never agreed with my brother's stupid infatuation and his idea of making you King, and you're officially getting deposed."

And typist willing, that hand on his collar is going to tighten, and he's getting dragged outside for a serious beating up.

He's not putting up with that without a fight! And is going to catch the doorframe with one hand and try to get a hand to - yes, playing dirty - shove on the wounded collarbone with the other. "What the hell has gotten into you? Let me go."

Yeah, Galadriel's pissed off. You're lucky she actually does like you, Fingon.

She left Tyelko with Irisse, and she's around - but not quite up to talking to you, just yet.

You want to see her, she'll be in her room, facepalming and meditating in alternation. She needs to remain calm. Acting out of anger was never anything she supported.

He does come by! And knock on the door, because he wants to talk to her. Maybe she's recovered her senses by now.

So he knocks, briskly, and is standing in the corridor waiting.

She half-expects him - and is almost disappointed. But she'll open the door.

"Fingon." A pause. What do you want?

"Artanis," carefully, a little, "I...came by to check on you."

Little sister here, NOT HAPPY with the big brother. She's pacing in front of the door - she hasn't decided what punishment is more appropriate - the silent treatment, or a good yelling at in pure Irisse fashion.

She's probably not as discreet as usual, about it, though.

She's Pissed Off. In caps.

He hears someone pacing and gets up to open the door. He at least wants some warning before someone else comes and tries to beat him up. "--Irisse."

Ah damn. "Brother." She just looks at him, angrily.

He looks back at her.

"Come in." Stepping back.

This is touchy. Niko isn't a relative, but as our fellow typist agreed... here he is, but no, not knocking at the door - because, well, you know, it's not really his style, not when he doesn't even know where to go.

But if Fingon needs to have some fresh air and a calm, reasonable, objective conversation, he'll be on the front lawn, training.

Well, heavens! Calm and reasonable? Fingon is the epitome of both, what are you saying?

But he does come striding out, eventually, wearing his sword again. After having tried Tyelko's door - again - and finding it locked - again.

This is really not helping.

He might notice that the Edain man he knows is out executing a complex and graceful kata.

He's not really interrupting himself - but he knows he is not alone.

Well, he's not stopping to watch. Heading for the cliffs, to kick around some more wreckage and try to sort out his thoughts.
