So...you can all thank Kate-Monster for this little post.  Unbeknownst to her, she gave me an amazing X-mas gift.  I got two David Sedaris books for this holiday, which are books of short memoirs, for those who don't know.  And I was reading one this morning that reminded me so much of Redmage and one of his...obsessions.  So, feel free to read the ( Read more... )

Reading "Dress Your Family in Courderoy and Denim" is also fun to read during a graduate level course, because there's a naked Barbie on the cover. I'm a big fan of the raised eyebrows.

And when I saw what you labeled the Sedaris quote, yes...I blushed.

But it's all so true! I almost wanted to take my typewriter to Scotland, but I figured that somehow the French airport folks wouldn't like it. Though, I'm yet to get critiques from my neighbors, fortunately.

But my typewriter is truer than his. It doesn't even require a plug. So ha!
