Here at the desk on one of my last days and lilly1978's second (always nice to have friends at work that you know will dig the job). So far so good. Looking forward to quite a bit this weekend - the new surroundings in the features section (finally and for real this time), the premiere of 300, some time to work on non-Sentinel writing.

Alright then, when do you want to catch 300? First Friday showing (with all the cellphone bunnyhoppers yammering), Saturday Matinee (with the stench of death from the night before embedded in the seats), Saturday night (which interrupts drinky time)? Cuz I'm down, as is pretty much everyone else we know, so we should try and organize a showing.

Trevor was making noises about going on Sunday night, which would suit me fine. See if Randy's up for waiting til then - you're probably more likely to see him tonight than I am.

Sunday!? But that's daylight savings, which means we'll have one hour less to enjoy the movie amongst each other. By which I mean, sit and listen to Trevor talk about the movie's flaws in comparison to the real-life badassery of the Spartans.

Joel Chmara is doing one of those "Kids Recitation Society" things and wants me to send him some poems from "Look! Up In The Sky!" in advance of buying a copy.

Do you mind if I send him the hulk poem?

Sure! Did that poem for the first time in awhile last weekend. Not to be attempted without throat lozenges ever again. That would be awesome to hear Joel do it, though!

I might have to hop back on Lulu.com and see if I screwed anything up. I ordered 3 copies about a month ago and they're not here yet. You heard any other problems with that?
