This weekend I went back to Rochester. Friday night my dad came and picked me up. I went with my parents to a restaurant and afterwards we went to see this movie called Eastern Promises that I had been dying to see. I liked it a lot, although it was so violent ( Read more... )

the only thing that makes me sad about you wanting to become a monk is your need to separate worldy ties. meaning that we couldn't be friends anymore.

your post got me thinking, and the material posession to lose that would kill me would be my guitar. I'd probably go crazy without it.

however, as your friend it is my duty to support you, thick and thin, unless you are seriously hurting yourself in both the long run and short term. being a monk would be neato i suppose.
