Huckabee silliness and silly hate

There was a segment on NPR today that was about an Iowa campaign advertisement by a candidate named Mike Huckabee. Huckabee is a Republican candidate; my impression of him is a friendly, simple man who would make a good friend but not a great executive. those comments are completely out of line, I agree.
I remember trying to read a michael moore book, and finding him just as irratating as all the other pundits, of any party.

I don't know if i even want to vote. I really dislike all of the candidates in th two major parties.
I think the two party system is mainly to blame. We'd be much better off with w a multiparty system, or a no party system.

Can you imagine if someone ran, not as a republican or a democrat, but as a person?
High concept, dude.

The one thing that surprised me about Ron Paul was how he was an actually good person. He is a medical doctor and he actually still treats his patients in his Texas home district.

Nevermind that I dislike libertarianism.

if ron paul didn't have such hideous ideas about some things that matter to me fundamentally, i would place him higher in the candidates. he seems like a good person, just not my kind of politician.

the one candidate i do like is Mike Gravel. Sadly he has NO chance of winning. I signed a bunch of web peticians to draft gore as the Democratic candidate. I'd like to see him win. again.

Thank you. It's nice to see that my attempt at serious commentary was at least somewhat successful.

I have made a huge swing from left-to-right recently, I think. Despite this, I still have a deep distaste for the Republicans.

Reading criticisms of Liberalism itself, the philosophy, have strongly influenced my views.
