except that i was in my living room, napping on the couch, and i heard it so i came out. you were grilling out back? she was taking walk...i was in my living room...and i heard it...so i came out...

seriously though. i was just about to try to take a quick nap, and all of a sudden heard this loud screech followed by

i hadn't even fallen asleep yet when this happened! i had laid down for maybe 10 minutes or so, i barely rested my eyes!! :P

Isn't it weird when you hear it? A few weeks ago I heard an accident at the corner by my house where I was totalled out and it brought back the memories. Went outside and saw it... all were OK luckilly. It's happened a few times this year but I never went to look. I can't help but always go look from now on. It's that sound that triggers memories. =(
