I have associates that consider themselves satanists, and work with them from time to time in magickal endeavors. But I am free from the Yhvh/Satan dichotomy. I consider neither deity to be anything more than a combination of old superstition and some moronic push for monothiesm that needed a 2 pole system. Good or evil. Right or wrong. 1 or 2. The world isn't thus though. There are so many paths and so many different spiritual energies. But Anton Lavey was a great man too. And a number of people just dont "get" the truth that underlied ideas. The 9 satanic statements and the 11 whatever ya call ems that he wrote are pure genius.
