Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

dogs (well, pets in general)- Animals might be one of the most important things in my life. I've spent so much time trying to understand what they are trying to tell me, rather it's a dog, a horse, or even my lizard. (which is usually saying why am I in this cage, and who is that cat?) My life is better for having them. I love them. Lately I have tried to what I can to help make their life better. I volunteer at my local shelter, I do disaster response to help set up shelters and care for them.

Bob- The other really important thing in my life? Bob and I have been married for over 10 years. He was literally my knight in shinning armor. I saw him walking across a convention floor in a shiny white coat, and was instantly in love. After spending the whole convention sitting at a table in the pool area, I knew I had never met anyone like him.

Austin TX- The place where Bob lived when I met him. We have moved out of Austin once, into San Jose, and were looking to move back as soon as we left. The semi-official community council's moto is “Keep Austin Weird”, They have succedded. There is no place like it!

naked Lukes (you know I had to include that one)- It all started when I hosted a painting 12” dolls for a convention of Star Wars fans. A friend of mine was into selling doll accessories. She had gotten a hold of a case of Luke Skywalker dolls for really cheap. She stripped them down, and sold the outfits for a profit. But was left with a bucch of dolls that no one wanted. We thought that for this group, a buch of Luke dolls would be perfect. Since I was not about to pay to dress them, only to have them covered in paint, I just threw them in a carpet bag, and away we went. For some reason, people were “horrified” when I not only had Naked Lukes, but was carrying them around that day. Now it's tradition. Perhaps the best of it is that being tradition, I had to throw one into my luggage when I went to another convention. The excange that follows hurt a lot of peole. “Rox, do you know you have a naked blonde in your luggage?” *pause* “Well, I don't have clothes for him, so I could hardly let him out, could I?” (Aaron would have been proud)

JadeCon friendship-AWSOME!! What else can be said? Oh, ok, a lot. Some of my best friends I have met through JadeCon. I feel so new to the group, and not sure I belong. After all, everyone hates me. *grin* What? You don't? JadeCon has offered me a change to meet some amazing people who I would never had come in contact with, and be part of some amazing (and truly crazy) stuff.
