I need a new washer

Everytime my washer runs it sounds like a jet engine and it's about to take off out of my house. I'm torn between going and getting a cheap one for about $250-$300 or getting an energy saver, energy star compliant one for about $600. One good thing about themore expensive ones is that they tend to use less water, are more gentle on clothes, use ( Read more... )

how long do you expect it to last? If you're looking to use it for a long time, go with the more expensive one. If you're planning on moving or something like that, then get a cheaper one that way it's not like you're over-buying. Seems simple enough. ;)

yea - i'm not sure how long i'll be here....i keep going back and forth on whether I want to move or not. I mean I want to move...but is it a good idea for me to move now?

But I could always take the washer with me...
