Days 2 and 3 of skiing were amazing. Monday was beautiful with a lot of great snow, great weather, great times. The last run made my legs burn as I skiied to the complete bottom of the mountain - but we were taking hte next day off so it was okay ( Read more... )

So far - Vail has been terrific. I was a little worried when we landed in Denver and the pilot said the temperature was 72 degrees. Later in the car the thermostat read a steamy 81 degrees. Yeehaw! But on the hour and a half trek to Vail we watched the temperature drop ( Read more... )

I went to see BODIES...The Exhibition last weekend and it was very interesting. Real bodies were used and if I remember correctly they used a process to remove any and all forms of water and replaced it with silicon. This prevents decay and hardens the the body parts ( Read more... )

A building I went into the other day had a 13th floor. Yes I realize all buildings that have 13 stories actually have a 13th floor, BUT I've never seen one labelled as such in an elevator, it's usally 12A or 14.

I mentioned it to a coworker and he looked me puzzled as to why a building would NOT have a 13th floor. Leave a comment

It amazes me how simple problem solving skills are completely foreign to a large portion of the human population. Today, while waiting on the elevator, a woman was freaking out because she could not get to the floor she wanted to since she left her key with her husband (at this Hyatt there are certain floors you need your room key to access).
