   I just started a Facebook group called "My Dad is Dead." Because he is. He most certainly is.

It's rough hun... I cannot imagine what you & you family has gone through. Those bittersweet memories are what really gets you. It seems like they always surface somehow, and not with the best timing. Death is not an ending though - your Dad will forever continue living, through you... and in that sense, those we love who pass on become immortal despite whatever religion, individual, science, theory, etc., has to say about it. I'm sure that your father would want you not to reflect upon the past painful memories, but the positive & happy ones. Good memories can inspire you to do great things, and to look to the future with hope.

Starting that group is definitely a good idea though- not only will you be helping yourself by relating to people who've undergone similar situations, but you'll be helping others too. Good for you :)

Remember if you ever need to talk again, (yes even at 7am, heehee), call me anytime. *hugs*
