 It was a delightful weekend!  Rode to Charleston with Russ to see his brother, eat lunch, buy shrimp and drive  home.  Quite nice!

I think I am finally starting to get back to something resembling normalcy.  Two weeks on the road and 6500 miles took a toll.  I only had Friday, Saturday & Sunday to rest before coming back to work Monday.  And it's been a court week, so work has been full.  I've also been trying to deal with making arrangements for getting the VW to my house.  I ( Read more... )

 
This trip is starting out like no other.  We left Friday and arrived N'Awlins at 4:20 (seriously!) taking into consideration the one hour time differential.  On checking into our hotel, I discovered I had no Visa card.  I had last used it to buy gas somewhere in Mississippi.

I'm down to one last day, tomorrow, before we take off bright and early Friday morning. Like 5 a.m. early. I want to be west of Atlanta by rush hour.
