New Furniture!
Normal morning routine, minus taking Sydney to school. The snow made for a slick drive taking Charles to work. We came home and the kids played. I folded clothes and cleaned a bit. Happy New Year! Annual attempt to be a better record keeper
We stayed up way too late watching Studio C and Doctor Who and finishing the puzzle we started. We woke up with the kids around 8:30, which is not bad...unless you didn't get enough sleep. We tag-teamed getting ready and keeping the kids occupied. Did some cleaning and then took a long nap after lunch. It snowed all day, so we just hung out all day ( Read more... ) -

It was warm today, like in the mid 60's. Lovely. We spent most of the afternoon outside. Did some cleaning and a little bit of shopping. We took Charles lunch and got to see his new office quickly. Other than that, rather boring day. Oh, I did get some cute shoes that were on clearance at Target today. That was fun. -

It was a lay-around day for me, as I never really felt great. Charles took Sydney to school and picked her up. He also went to work. Sydney and I took down the Christmas decorations and played outside for a bit. We went to Panera for dinner(that was probably when I felt the best all day). Sydney slept until 8:30 this morning. Nice! We got ready and our friends the Johnsons called and invited Sydney over to play. They had been in D.C. all fall, so it was nice to go and hangout with them. New Year...new attempt
Trying to do this again...no promises, as I'm feeling pretty crappy and I've only known I'm pregnant for a week. ( I know I should wait to say anything, but I'm tired of not being able to tell anyone why I feel crappy and this felt pretty safe. Blah
Sydney had school today. I stayed with her to help. They did the letter n and made some cute nests and neckties. We pretty much sat at home other than that. I made tacos for dinner. Sydney and I had hot fudge sundaes and watched Mary Poppins while Charles was at class. Now, Charles is home and we are listening to the BYU v. Air Force game.

Long, Cold Day
Sydney woke up about 11:30 last night, complaining that her ear hurt. We didn't get to bed (or her back to bed) until 1:30 am. Which means that we didn't wake up until after 8, just due to lack of sleep. Add in the wonderfully warm temperature of 7 degrees and it was a brilliant start to the day.
