It's kind of a long story, but I went through this thing, in my universe, called the Gate and when I came out... my memories were in tact again.

The thing that perplexed her (and upset her, really) the most was that he remembered everyone else. However, she knew she couldn't be too angry. Upset, confused, and a bit hurt, sure, but not angry. So when she finally builds up enough nerve to answer his question, she sounds rather cautious at first.]
