my opinion, from my experience is that the tattooist makes more money than the cafe owner. I have worked for both as you know.

I can't wait to see your house, even in less than finished state. Personally, I like seeing a little "in progress" to make it clear how far you've come. As far as career, you are clearly motivated and bright and clever. With those qualities, it's not so much which you choose - I think you will excel at any of them. Choose the one you are most motivated to do, cause then it will be fun even at those times its not super lucrative. Take that with a grain of salt from the girl with a pair of golden handcuffs on.
