Today we received our annual reviews. I wasn't looking forward to mine so I made this clear to my office mates and my supervisor from the get-go. My Mom came to visit me for the 2nd time since I've left her house. I think I've lived in seven locations, eight if you count college. It's nice to see her, but I feel awkward when people visit me from out of town. If Thom Yorke from Radiohead worked at McDonalds and made Bic Macs, they'd still have 2 all beef patties, special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions and a sesame seed bun, but I think he would put them together in a more interesting way... a way that would make them taste better, and a way that some people might not immediatley understand or admit ( Read more... )
