But instead I'm mourning the death of our dog, Molly, who was the very last of the Lucas Clumbers. Such a sweet dog, and even though I told myself over and over on the way home from work today that she wouldn't be there to greet me, I still found myself looking around for her. The floor seems empty here and my heart is broken.

this is sad, bad news about molly, vikki. there's never a right time or place to lose a beloved pal, especially of the four-legged variety. i only wish that there were words to say how sorry i am and how deeply i feel for you, gabe, marcie and cas.

It's a terrible loss, Brad. It's amazing how much more difficult it is than the deaths of Dewey and Diz. Just knowing that there would be at least one big, white face waiting there at home took so much sting out. You are so sweet to write. I hope that everything's going all right in L.A. I've been thinking of you.
