It is hard to be the parent of an adult child. When kids are young their mistakes, while catasttophic at the times they occur, are usually small. There are consequences, but they are in proportion to the age and experience of the kid in the main. When will I ever learn that sometimes people just need to complain and receive sympathy. Not everyone is looking for solutions all the time. When I hear someone's problems or woes, I want to make them better and in trying to do so, I piss some people off. Phones ringing so fast that I finally had to let calls go to voice mail in order to get anything done. Then pick up the messages, return the calls, let the calls go to voice mail, get things done.
